Ariel is a central character in Disney's animated film, The Little Mermaid (1989). She is a mermaid princess, the youngest daughter of King Triton, ruler of Atlantica.

Ariel is known for her adventurous and rebellious spirit, harboring a fascination with the human world despite her father's warnings. This curiosity leads her to make a dangerous deal with the sea witch Ursula, trading her voice for human legs in the hopes of winning the love of Prince Eric.

This version of Ariel is part of the Disney Princesses franchise. She appears in numerous Disney properties and related merchandise.

She was featured in the Lego CMF Disney Series 1.
